Corrections especially. If something on this site is wrong we would rather hear it from you than leave it up.

A mailbox standing in a snowy winter landscape

Everything here is written by one person, and that person reads every message. There is no support queue and no ticket number - just info@scrapeandshield.com, or the form below, which goes to the same place.

What is genuinely useful to send

  • A correction. If a specification is wrong, a product is discontinued, or a link goes somewhere dead, tell us. Include the page and what is wrong with it and it gets fixed the same week. Corrections are made visibly and the last-reviewed date on the page moves when we make one - see the editorial policy.
  • A question we have not answered. The FAQ and the guides cover most of it, but the questions people actually ask are what decide what gets written next.
  • A product we have missed. Particularly one that publishes real specifications, since that is what most of this category refuses to do.
  • Where a page reads as though we tested something. We have not tested anything and we work hard not to imply otherwise. If a sentence slipped through that sounds like a testing claim, that is a bug and we want to know.

What we cannot help with

  • Order problems. We do not sell anything - if something you bought through a link has not arrived, the retailer is who to contact.
  • Diagnosing a specific fault on your car. We are not mechanics and pretending to be would be exactly the thing this site exists not to do.
  • Paid placement, sponsored posts or link insertions. Nobody pays to appear here and nobody ever will.
